Ava is a ballplayer now.....

Last year it was Lizzie and Grace and Ava didn't want to do the softball thing...but after going to quite a few games and not being able to play she was all about it this year!!    She had her first game this week and was she sooooooo excited!!  She is #10...wearing it proudly like her step-momma and she even got a double on her first time up to bat!!   They do machine pitch, but it didn't phase her....wherever that pitch came in....she hit it.   Went 2 for 2 and played shortstop.   Did great!!!

My Little Softball player

Lizzie had her first softball game on Wednesday the 14th with the O'Fallon Mystics! It is a coach pitch league....they were so cute!!! They did suprisingly well considering half of them had no idea what was going on!!!

And there she stands on 3rd base! Oh no...she didn't get a triple...oh how I wish.

Her playing 1st base...let's just say that should be for a player that was 6, she didn't quite grasp that she would be part of every play....and have to run back to first after each time it was hit. But after the 5th or 6th time of everyone saying, "GO BACK TO FIRST" she started to get it :)

After the game!!! They did so great...can't wait to watch her next week!!!! She was so excited that Grandpa Monster, Uncle Kevin, Ava, Grace and Wade were all there to watch her! She is so used to now going to Ava and Grace's games that she was really excited to have such a crowd watching her!!!!
