Insta-Friday....

So has everyone gone out and downloaded the Instagram app on their Iphone?  It is so fun to play around with all the cool filters it can put on your pics!!!

So today was Bella's surgery of getting tubes in those little ears of her :(   But we were so glad that they are finally doing it b/c I feel so bad that she has had so many little ear infections since January.....

It is so amazing how those doctor's can do the procudure so quick...she had to be put to sleep with bubblegum flavored mask...I guess I wouldn't mind going to sleep smelling some yummy bubblegum right?

Anyway she was a trooper...never even fussed..good old bottle was right next to her when she woke up about 2 minutes after I got in the room with her.   It is also so amazing how there is no downtime with this...she took a great nap when we got home then decided to take advantage of the wonderful weather in the STL area and go get Lizzie from Guppy to go have a picnic at the park....

I am obsessed with Bella's curls in her hair...I have always had such BONE straight hair that I love love love them!!!  Of course they will probably go away but I love it right now!!

The kiddos love the Giraffe & Elephants at the New Town park Bella points and screams out baby talk everytime we go...

 Bella enjoying some yummy cucumber...1st one!  There are so many new things that she is trying these days...and she loves most of all of it...she is just like her Daddy!!   Although you should have seen her try to grab my entire chocolate chip cookie and down that....so there she is like her Mommy for sure!

Insta-Friday Linky Party

End of the Year for Lizzie....now on to 1st Grade :(

I can hardly believe that my little Lizzie is already done with her 1st year of Kindergarten!  I feel like it was just yesterday that I was waking her up for her 1st day...wow she has learned so much!!!

Today Lizzie's grade did a Kindergarten bash....a celebration instead of an actual graduation...it was too cute!    Each kid had to dress up as what they wanted to be when they grow up...and this one was way out of left field...Ballet Teacher.  Mind you Lizzie has not taken any dance classes since she was 2 and honestly I believe it was truly because she figured out which job had the coolest outfit. :)  Too funny....So a ballet teacher is what she was.    Here she is leading the line with Mrs. B (her sweet Kindergarten teacher)

Lizzie today was your last day of Kindergarten and you are moving on up to 1st Grade!

You learned so much this year and I am so proud of you!!!  You received the "PRIDE" award a couple months ago for Determination and that is something you truly do...you are so determined to accomplish anything that you put your mind to!   You have so much love for school and I hope you continue that school pride!  You were always so excited to participate in any school activity and go all out on all the fun crazy spirit days!!  Mrs. B swares one day you will be the best cheerleader b/c you have so much school spirit!

You learned how to read this year and are so much better now than at the beginning of the school year.  I know you were very sad on your last day of school....but you will enjoy your summer and 1st Grade will be here before you know it!!!

Let's just say the older you get the quicker life seems to go....I mean literally I feel like I was just laying in the hosptial bed ready to pop...and I blink and now my Bella Nicole is 1 years old!!   I need to slow down!!

She sure loves everyone over there...I know she had the best birthday with all of her friends!

Bella - Today you turned 1 years old...and you might be the biggest ham baby I have ever seen.  You are truly happy all the time....except the fact that mommy just found out that you need Tubes in your ears b/c you have had a chronic ear infection since January...I can only imagine in dealing with that annoying pain and how happy you still are all the time!   So you are going into surgery tomorrow....tube time.

You love your sisters so much...you get sooooo excited when any of them walk into the room...

When Daddy walks into the room you light up...especially when he says "Hello Jello"...but you are a momma's girl...:)  You love playing games with Mommy and Daddy on who you want holding you.  You lean into Daddy then pull back quickly to be with Mommy!   It is just too funny!

you love to help mom with the laundry...pulling clothes out and handing them to me is what you love to do.  You still are not walking, but are so close....you love to stand up all the time while hanging on to anything.  

You squinty eye smile and laugh lights up any room you are in....you smile and laugh at everyone..even strangers.   Continue that wonderful spririt little Bella....love you so much xoxoxox Mommy

Long Weekend - Orlando

Loving the times when Mom gets to come into town to see all of us....this Mother's Day weekend my mom and Kent came into town and watched Bella while I flew down to meet Wade in Orlando while he was in between meetings. OH it was so nice to sleep in have coffee all morning!!! So peaceful!

I actually got Wade to do a pedi with me..(Oliver you will know what I am talking about!  The scratching of the sheets is all gone!  Oh thank god!!)

 So this is the first time I ever used the automatic timer on my cheapo camera...it was quite funny me hittign the button and trying to sprint to the couch in my heals, sit down and act like I had been posing for minutes!!  Too funny!  That is really why I got a great smile out of Wade b/c he was really just laughing at me!

What a great long weekend....I think it is sooooo important to do things like this at least once a year with the hubs/spouses!   With 4 kiddos between the both of us everyone can get so caught up in all the activities and hustle and bustle of everyday life....
