Halloween 2010

This year Lizzie, Bella and I decided to go to Main Street in St. Charles and do the trick or treating during the day ....wow what a popular event!! It was packed, but Lizzie had a blast and the weather was gorgeous so it was a great afternoon :)

My little pumpkin & Cheerleader....

This is the best shot of the Halloween season...I love this pic of Bella!!

Bella & Uncle Monte posing

My little one all bundled up for the first time ....love this fun hat!!

Pumpkin Carving time at the Civey's

On the Monday before Halloween I decided that we needed to start a new tradition called the Pumpkin Carving Party...what a fun way to carve those great pumpkins Wade and the girls had picked up at the little farm down the road. So we called up Aunt Candi, Chase and Uncle Kevin, grilled up some yummies and picked out our favorite design.

Here the excited ones are anxious to get started, but needed to eat first

And Miss Bella eating her little giraffe on her most favorite activity center :) She loves that thing right now!!

Kiddos playing some computer games before we get started :)

Lizzie cleaning out her guts of the pumpkin....

Ava doing the same thing....

Aunt Candi & Kevin taking their's very seriously as we were having a friendly little competition!

Our finished products!! This one below was Kevin's I believe.....

This one below was mine....I think this one wins by far!!!!

Here was Candi's & Chase's ....very nice!!

It was a great time....a new tradition has been started!!!

Apple Picking

Here we are at our first Family Apple Picking outing...I used to do this all the time when I was a little kid so of course I wanted to start this tradition with our little family :) Too bad it was so darn hot that day as you can see with Lizzie's tank top on!! It was a lot of fun, we took the Grafton ferry over the river and that was an experience in itself...a lot of people had that same idea from St. Charles and we ended up waiting for over an hour just to get on the thing since it took only about 15 cars at a time :) But it was still fun!!

Grace & Lizzie posing for me after filling the bag...Fuji's were the apple of choice as it was a little late and that was about the only thing that was left at this point.
A quick shot of Wade and I...we don't get many together since I am usually the one snapping the pics.

The girls on the tractor before we head out.....

Another group shot waiting in line for the tractor to come pick us up :)

And sweet little Bella !

Her favorite gift...the squinkies!!

Lizzie opening a few of her gifts on her actual birthday...she loves being fancy and wearing dresses and skirts to school all the time. So her big day was no different!

She chose Princess and the Frog cupcakes for her birhtday party at school...

Here is part of the house decorated with my new favorite decorations...pom poms made from tissue paper, how many of us remember those things from Six Flags when we were little....I know I begged mom to by them for me, when they are actually so easy to make!!!
