More Sporting Events!!

Last week and weekend was definatly a busy one at the Civey household...we were going in all different directions and managed to cover three different sports over the weekend.

Saturday was filled with Ava's soccer game @ 9:45 and then we were off to Lutheran South for the Green Park Relays for Grace's Track. Not sure how many of you are familiar with track, but it is a long day!! 4 hours of races to watch Grace do three events totalling 15 minutes :) But Immanuel did great..they won the whole meet!

Lizzie and Ava had an absolute blast running around all day and playing while the meet went on and after was all said and done they got to run the track a few times :)

Sunday started with Grace's 1st softball game ever! She has been lucky enough to be picked up on a team that is sponsored and has a ton of cool uniforms.

Lizzie had her first softball game on Wednesday the 14th with the O'Fallon Mystics! It is a coach pitch league....they were so cute!!! They did suprisingly well considering half of them had no idea what was going on!!!

Her 1st bat of her career!! She got a hit......

And there she stands on 3rd base! Oh no...she didn't get a triple...oh how I wish.

Her playing 1st base...let's just say that should be for a player that was 6, she didn't quite grasp that she would be part of every play....and have to run back to first after each time it was hit. But after the 5th or 6th time of everyone saying, "GO BACK TO FIRST" she started to get it :)

After the game!!! They did so great...can't wait to watch her next week!!!! She was so excited that Grandpa Monster, Uncle Kevin, Ava, Grace and Wade were all there to watch her! She is so used to now going to Ava and Grace's games that she was really excited to have such a crowd watching her!!!!

An AWESOME weekend with my girls!!

SIU hosted a 60th Softball Alumni Reunion this past weekend and it was such a blast!!! All my besties from college made the trip and we picked up as if we were never apart. God I laugh so much with all those girls it is crazy!!! I didn't take too many pics on my own, waiting to get some of the others that I can post for everyone to see :)

Here is a pic of a few of the girls and my preggo self standing in front of the amazing softball stadium that was built 1 or 2 years after I left....shouldn't compain too much after talking with all the women that played in the 60's! We had it pretty darn good :)

Lizzie had practice outstide on Sunday when I got home and I managed to get a few shots of her warming up with Daddy before practice and before my camera died!!!

This is my favorite...she is really into hula hooping...and she is quite good at it the way she shaking her hips all over the place!! Too funny!!!

Happy Easter!!

What a great Easter we had!!! Such fun things were brought by the Easter bunny and we had a great day with family at our house. Grace sung in the sunrise service so our house was out the door by 5:40am to be at 6am service. Whew!! Nothing like getting everyone up at 5am!!

It was a long day and I was spent afterwards for sure!!! My ankles were huge!!
