New Cookies.....Elmo & Football

So after so much trial and error I think I have the right Royal Icing recipe...who knew there were so many combinations!!! Ugh! But I think I have it......take a look at my weekend of cookie making.

I still have some more to do today....but this is super fun!! Each cookie is a little different :)

New fun things....

My love for baking cookies is in full effect and I have been trying new things after searching the blogs of other's. Wow there are so many creative people out there. Welcome to the world of royal icing! It's the kind of icing that you find on bakery sugar cookies. So I thought I should be able to do this! My first venture.....a gift for Tracy's baby boy Logan!! Thanks to some special burp clothes from AddyReece Boutique I have created my first creation :)

My Sunday Suprise!!

So as I woke up on Sunday morning I opened my bedroom door and I saw pink and white streamers and balloons leading me downstairs.....and I saw all three girls sitting around the kitchen table with lots of presents and a cake! I asked what all this was for and they were like "We wanted to throw you our own baby shower!!" They were so excited and proud of themselves as they had gone out and picked out different things with Wade on Saturday!

I was so excited that they all wanted to do this for me considering the week I had just gone through! Needless to say my Sunday was priceless :) I got so many fun little presents for Bella! Each thing picked out specifically by each one of them.

Friday Night Fun!!

So we are making room for Baby Bella and got Lizzie & Ava bunk beds as we combine the girls in one room. Surpisingly their was no drama as Lizzie opted for the TOP bunk and Ava was all about the BOTTOM bunk...thank god!!

Lizzie was so excited to go to sleep last night it was great!!

Meanwhile I was busy with my new craft adventure....thanks to the Valentine's Topiary Tutorial from Save the Date for Cupcakes

Believe me I am no Martha but this actually was super easy and turned out adorable!!!

My New Blog!!!

Well this is my first shot of blogging....I have been stalking so many here lately and everyone has so many intersting things to say. I of course feel like I have nothing important to say but at least this can help me document my fun life of soon to be 4 girls and a husband with a boy dog :)

It is the end of the week and boy it has been a long one....all of these hormones that are kicking in are just crazy and I honestly feel like I have been taken over by the exercist at some point throughout the week....Wade and the girls must think I have lost my mind entirely. But oh well crazy hormones are part of the game. I am currently 23 weeks and progressing nicely.

But hopefully this is a great way for all the grandparents, friends and family to keep up with our busy lives. I hope that this will one day be exciting for my little ones to look back on and see how many fun times we all had!!

Lizzie's See Otto!!!

So I came home on Wednesday night after work to see my little Lizzie smiling from ear to ear that she had something so special to share with me! She reached over and gave me a book "See Otto Run" There was a note from her teacher Ms. Nancy stating that I needed to have Lizzie read it to me. So I sat down next to her....and the little angel started reading the whole thing without any help from me! I couldn't believe it....she was reading her first real book. Now please understand that each page had only three words on it....but she was doing it. Oh how I wish you all could have seen how proud she was and how her grin was from ear to ear...then to tope it all off she was the Seahorse Superstar that week b/c of her reading skills! Needless to say she (AND HER MOMMA) were so proud of her!!!

Her reading it one last time....then her and I had a special bagel breakfast that morning at Java Dave's to celebrate her special day!!! And she had to read it again....and again. My little 5 year old is growing up so fast......
