A week of coffins!

My biggest cookie order yet was due today....200 coffin cookies for Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles for their 75th Anniversary Founders Day! Bless Wade's little heart b/c I took over the kitchen from Wed - Sun this week and there was literally no room to move!!!

But after long hours this weekend.....all are bagged, bowed and boxed!

I am getting ready to head over to deliver these suckers!!

My Little helper....through the years

Eversince I can remember, Lizzie has loved helping me make chocolate chip cookies...I have pics of her back when she was 2 I think helping me (or at least waiting to like the spoon).

With my new venture she knows that just about everynight I am making cookies, but she gets especially excited when the chocolate chip orders come in...(she is not too fond of the sugar cookies) Here are a few shots from her helping or just watching I should say, since all she really likes to do is pour in the chocolate chips :)

Here are a few pictures of Lizzie back in January 2007....how little and cute is she!

Here are some shots from May 2007

And from March 22, 2010....oh how she is growing up :)

I love my little princess so much and as much as I hate to see her get older, I cherish these little memories we get to make each time we bake some yummy cookies. I know when I was little I loved making cookies with my mom!!

March weekend @ the Lake

It's typical Spring weather in the midwest!! Nothing like having gorgeous weather in the 60's the past few days to it being 33 and sleeting! Ugh!!

Well the Civey's hit the lake this weekend for a relaxing get away...

and of course we had to hit the Miner Mike's for a couple hours for the girls to burn off some energy. That place is a gold mine...kids everywhere spending all kinds of money! Here are some cute shots of Lizzie playing the bowling game!

And Grace playing some good old fashioned skee-ball! Man I remember how many times me and my brothers would battle it out to see who could get the most tickets and end up with a bouncy ball b/c those cost 50-100 tix.

The girls waiting oh so patiently for their tokens......

This game we figured produced the most tickets...so of course the girls spent a lot of time here.

And after 480 tickets, Lizzie chose "Buster" her very colorful caterpillar! Oh she was so proud.

Grace ended up with 680 tickets so her prize of choice was the biggest WOOPIE cushion I have ever seen, which ended up making them laugh over and over again on the way back to the house. Ava settled on a green stuffed animal of some sort, chocolate smarties, and a few other little games. Either way the girls had a blast and Wade and I are exhausted! Time for movie mania as the sleet pounds off the lake and the windows.....I can't wait to see the sun again!

DORA THE EXPLORER

My first attempt at the ever so popular Dora the Explorer cookies....I actually surpised myself!!
Take a look at how cute these suckers are :) First pic before her cute face went on and the final!!

And I am also making 210 mini cupcakes for Lizzie's daycare for a Retirement Party....these were super fun!!!
We are off to the lake for the weekend....to enjoy a lazy one! Love the big PIT in the basement, don't think I will move from that thing the entire SAT as we have a huge MOVIE MARATHON!
It seriously can suck you in :)

Baby Showers & Dad's Birthday

I had a great fun weekend starting off with much needed girls night on Thursday the 11th with super yummy pizza and wonderful cupcakes! It was great to see all my girls and they even suprised me with my baby bedding for little BELLA!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

My momma was in town this weekend and it was great to see her...we all went out to dinner on Friday night with a night of shopping at Babies R Us...got to get our new travel system as well.

Then some fun shots of the Luncheon my mom threw me at Cardwell's in Frontenac.

Thanks to everyone that attended the great lunch!!

Today is actually my dad's birthday!! We had a wonderful BBQ to celebrate last night, oh how I love BBQ pork steaks! They are my favorite by far!! I apologize I will post more pics of the night, this is the only one I got on my camers and both the goofballs had their eyes closed!!!

What a fun week!!!

It actually might hit 60 degrees today and how I love opening windows up in my house and bringing in that fresh air...and just getting the stale out! There are so many fun things that happened this week at the Civey house!!

Friday night was Grace's 1st dance....she had a casual 6th, 7th & 8th grade dance at the Lutheran Highschool, which brought in all the Lutheran schools in the area for this mixer. She was really excited!

Then we got a new car...well not brand new but new to us....as we are expecting #4 there was no way we were going to be able to fit the whole fam in either one of our cars, so out car shopping we have been for the past few months. And finally today we got to pick her up! Here are few shots of the very excited girls in the back of the Chevy Suburban...wow I feel like I am driving a bus, but oh so nice when the girls are not on top of each other!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend...I am off to make some cookies (Shamrocks & Easter) to showcase on my cookie site LIZZIE JEAN'S COOKIES!!!

29 weeks today!!

I am so excited because the sun has actually been out here for 2 days in a row! I can feel the spring coming sometime soon and it just puts everyone in a great mood :) I am 29 weeks today and wow feel like a house....it is crazy when you preggo somedays you feel half way normal and then other days you just feel like a whale! I am not really sure what causes it to change on a daily basis?? Maybe foods you eat? Who knows? But Bella is super active in my belly....she loves to kick my right side daily around lunch time....and quite hard :)

Pardon the little Lizzie next to me who was not happy at all this morning and we could not squeeze a smile out of her at that point in time....but I did want to showcase her favorite new shirt!!! Special thanks to Marta @ Haus of Girls for this adorable Shamrock Shirt for St. Patty's Day!! She has some super cute stuff so you should check her site out!! Her blog is super addicting, she always posts the cutest and funniest stuff!! Notice the pic of me with the little baby on my belly....Lizzie wanted a shot of her baby of the day sitting on my big belly as that made her cheer up :)

Here are some other cute shots from this morning's breakfast....Wade got up early and made my favorite FRENCH TOAST....he makes it sooooo good!!

Another funny quote from Lizzie this morning....we were on our way to school and she noticed all the frost on the cars that were parked outside. She said "Mommy I just saw a car that looked like it had sparkles on it....it is just so beautiful! I love when the cars sparkle...I know it is not because they are shiny but because it is cold, but it is just so beautiful!" I was dying laughing because I love when she says beautiful or any other big words...because when a 5 year old says it, the word just comes out so cute! I wish she would stay this age forever!

I am posting a lot of stuff right now, but I wanted to also mention that Wade sold his lake house so we spent the weekend cleaning out his stuff down there...here are some pics from that. What great memories from down there!
