Soccer Time for Lizzie

So growing up playing 100% softball all the time from the time that I was 7, I never experienced soccer and none of my 3 brothers did either.  Lizzie was all about playing this year as all of her school friends play :)  So we were lucky enough to get on Taylor's dads team that have been together since they were 4 years old.  Wow, it was so much fun and I can say that unfortunately I am one of those mom's that is on the sidelines screaming "Go to the ball"....oh yes one of those annoying hoodlems on the sidelines.  Wade came to his first game and was shocked at what I had turned into as soon as the whistle blew...it is so exciting!!!
Nothing against softball as that is always my first love, but this is intense..even at 7!!

Here is a shot of a few of the girls at practice one night...Lizzie in back :)

Bella (17 months) wanted in on part of the action so here she is looking cute with the ball on our front porch after practice one night.

Lizzie on the day she scored her first goal!!!  So told her she could pick out anything she wanted from the market in town....she was HAPPY!!

Here she is as goalie....

Shot with all the girls at her last game when she got her trophy...Bella not cooperating at this point at all.
Ava not looking...typical family pics with 4 girls :)

My one eye Jack Bella shot....classic (love the piggys...her hair is growing like crazy lately...love it!)

The happy player, trophy and all!!

Her hanging out before the team shot...notice how much taller she is than her team mates.

Lizzie is 7!!!

Again catching up on all the happenings throughout the past few months and we had a big birthday with Miss Lizzie....she is now 7, going on 20!   This years theme was ROCKSTAR party and we had a blast!!!  When I say she is going on 20, is b/c in these upcoming pics she has makeup on and OMG, a little revealing of how my beauty will look when she starts wearing makeup!

The cookies that Lizzie Jean's Cookies made for her to take to school :)

The house was decorated in the morning when she woke up with Purple & Black balloons everywhere

A morning shot with Bella (16 months) & the birthday girl Lizzie

Bella with her "One eye Jack" pose that she does oh so often when taking pics!!

Lizzie posing in front of her dessert table ....she thinks she is a serious model :)

This pic is classic....love all the faces on these girls when having their dance party!!!

Group shot of all of her girlfriends

Her fun invitation

To my little Lizzie....
You are 7 years old now and turning into such a beatiful young lady.  I love when you would say when you were little "Mommy you are my best friend" and the great thing is that you still do...it means so much to me.  You are my mini me and I love that...I try to teach you everyday to be respectful of others and never be mean to anyone...and as you get older I see you have those values with your classmates and your sisters (well most of the time with your sisters)   You love everyone!   Always remain positive and be happy in life as you get older life will continue to throw you curveballs.   Keep smiling my little lizzard, you have so much to be thankful for and you have a big ole family that loves you very much!!
Love mommy

Slaker again....School started

It is now November 5th and I haven't posted since August...wow!!!   I tell you what life is so busy and just seems to get away from us, but I need to make sure and update this as I LOVE going back to see what I have posted in the past....as my little ones are getting so big so fast!!!

I will update with as many pics on what has been happening the past few months and then continue to go forward :)  Miss Lizzie started 1st grade in August....amazing the pics from when she started Kindergarten and how much she looks so much older!! Not to mention that she grew a foot over the summer I think!   She has no pants!!   Love the beginning of school pictures...they look so sun kissed tan from lots of pool and lake days over the summer :)

Love Bella and her fun hair....and her little sleepy eyes in the morning....she is 15 months here.

Mommy & Lizzie...my twin....me and her stick out like a soar thumb in our blended family as all the others in our family are blonde as can be!!!

The shot I get each year now in front her of school

Next up Ava & Grace's big day of 1st day of school.....they started about a week after Lizzie did
Ava is in 3rd grade now

Grace is in 8th grade...she is the big fish now in school and is growing up each day

The family shot....love this pic!!!

Another one as I love to snap as many pics as possible....because the chance of getting all 4 girls to look with eyes open is no easy task.

The 3 big girls.....

I really can't believe how big they are getting.
I try to cherish as many days as possible b/c before I know they won't even be this size anymore :(
ENJOY EVERY DAY!!!

More Lake time....

Here was our second trip to the lake.....had a great time...with a few minor hiccups (girls mis behaving  caused us to cut this trip short)    I honestly felt like it was dejavu when I was little and I heard my mom and dad saying "That's it, we can't take it anymore....we are leaving!!"    I felt like good old Kim's voice was just spewing out of me!  Well when they say "Just wait till you have kids, you will know"  Well I am there and with a vengence!  Instead of 1 girl (me) and 3 boys in my family...it is the 4 girls I have now!
I pray everyday for strength to get through when they act up and I know they are kids...but oh my lord!

So anyway we packed up on Friday (we were planning on staying till Sunday) and came home...no technology and pretty much a lot of silence on the way home.

For the most part the girls had a blast as you can see by these pics, but had to write it out for two reasons...
1) It helps me to let it out (b/c I know that no family is perfect...and I have to accept that)
2) I want to be able to have the girls one day when they are older and have kids of their own and remember this event :)

My boating girls....(minus Grace - she was at home at basketball camp)

Classic Bella with spaghetti....loved just rubbing it all over her face!

This was her before the incident

This is a nice shot of them getting along :)

Anyway I hope we never have to do that again and that I hope we are not the only family that is a circus...after I type this out we are creating a chart of chores :)

What the heck.....where was I??

All I have to say is WOW!!  Who doesn't write anything since May 28th!!   I mean summertime there are so many fun and busy things going on, but I could at least write a little here and there and post some pics so I can keep all the memories jotted down before they leave my mind!

Anyway I am going to try and get this going once again and keep it updated as often as possible!
So many fun things this summer...lots of trips to the lake (and that's what I have most pics of so that is what we will blog about)

It was a slow start to the lake other than Memorial Weekend...Wade and I had 2 weeks of vacation planned out but they didn't start until late July... so the first time we got to go down was the week of July 18th.

Bella hanging out in Aunt Stacie's condo exploring....I swear she never sits down...just walks into each room multiple times checking everything out.

Bella and big sissy Grace on the porch looking for boats...Bella waves to each and everyone and says "HI"
These two are just clowns!

 My poser Lizzie

Girls building sandcastles at Frankie and Louie's...Bella just wanted to eat the sand.  Not good!

As you can see on the bottom of her lip....sand which had been in her mouth about 2 minutes before!  Yuck!

Bella all tuckered out after a long day of boating!

This is the funiest pic of the trip!  Lizzie and Ava were playing camera with Bella and this shot was taken by Lizzie.   I think their facial expressions are hilarious!

Cute one out to lunch at Jolly Rogers!

Summer is flying by and as I write this Lizzie has 3 days left of summer vacation!  Crazy how time flies!
