Easter Time 2011

This Easter we only had Lizzie and Bella so it was a little quieter than normal...but we certainly had a great time.  Since this year has been a "wet" one to say the least the Easter bunny opted to hide eggs inside.

Happy Saturday with my girls

After the tornados have ripped through St. Louis I truly can not believe the devastation in some areas and how we were so lucky to have literally missed it by a few miles.   I mean the airport is so close to us...the planes actually fly over us (low) to land everyday! I have to see what it is that we can do to help....some people truly lost everything as their houses were flattened.  Very blessed on this day.

In between baking and storms....we took a little walk to get the mail and stopped off at the great park here in New Town.   Bella loves the swings!!

And here Lizzie is dying some easter eggs....

This year she was a little more detailed...she spent the time to write each girls name on each egg, make sure the egg was just the right color and then put stickers on each egg.

Let's hope the Easter Bunny picks some good hiding spots!!

BTW: I love the new app I found from a couple friends that I saw on FB...Instagram...it is a free app on my iphone and I love it!!  I love how it has so many options of filters for the pictures...

Random

So lets just start off by saying how crazy the weather here has been here lately....it's Friday night and after tornado sirens, big crazy hail and deciding if we should hang out in the basement all night....we are finally all clear.   It missed us...lots of rain but here

Bella is totally into smiling with her squinty eyes and it is the cutest thing ever!   She is such a ham!!!

Wordless Wednesday....11 Months Old Miss Bella

Ava is a ballplayer now.....

Last year it was Lizzie and Grace and Ava didn't want to do the softball thing...but after going to quite a few games and not being able to play she was all about it this year!!    She had her first game this week and was she sooooooo excited!!  She is #10...wearing it proudly like her step-momma and she even got a double on her first time up to bat!!   They do machine pitch, but it didn't phase her....wherever that pitch came in....she hit it.   Went 2 for 2 and played shortstop.   Did great!!!

Bella's 11 Months

Wow...I can't believe she is already 11 months!!  It is just crazy how fast this time is going by!  I need to get planning this little one's big party!!!

Bella's photo shoot...on Main Street

I have partnered with Adler Photography to provide her cookies for her clients and in turn she provides me with great photos!!!   I was so excited for Bella's 1 year old shoot...went down on Main Street in St. Charles and I can hardly wait to see what she presents to us.....I can't wait to display at her first birthday party next month.   Here are few quick shots of us preparing to head out.....notice the bib over the cute shirt made by AddyReece Boutique 

How come picture shoots just stress you out!!  I know there are more mom's out there that stress out as much as I do...nevermind the fact that I totally forgot to bring sunscreen for my little babies sensitive skin when it was a wopping 88 degrees...I mean who does that.

Sponge Curlers are the best

How many times as a kid do you remember putting sponge rollers in your hair!  OMG I used to all the time.  Well Lizzie is an old pro at it as she LOVES getting fancy for school, but Ava well when she asked for me to put them in her hair after Lizzie I about fell out of my chair.   She very rarely likes to get "Fancy".   

Her hair is so much shorter than Lizzie's and it was a little damp so honestly I figured it would just have a little wave (b/c Lizzie's never works if it is a little wet)  WOW was I wrong!!!   Holy Shirly Temple!!!  Her face was priceless when we were unrolling the sponges!!!
